  • 14th Annual Breast Cancer Walk- At Bridge Park in Downtown Charlevoix. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the 3 mile begins at 10 a.m. Proceeds benefit Circle of Strength and Charlevoix Area Hospital for the purchase of a digital mammography machine.
  • Community Garage Sale- The entire Traverse City community is invited to either sell their wares or bring their shopping bags at the indoor/outdoor Timber Ridge Community Garage Sale from 9-2pm. 947-2770.

  • Putting for Patriots- This national event will occur simultaneously at 35 Pirate’s Cove, Pirate’s Island and Jungle Golf miniature golf courses throughout the United States. A percentage of sales today will be donated to three different charities that support and serve veterans. Throughout the entire holiday weekend, each golf course will accept donations to be turned over to the three charities.
